Genesis

Kendriya Vidyalaya Gunupur, located in the Rayagada district of Odisha, India, is a part of the Kendriya Vidyalaya Sangathan (KVS), an autonomous body under the Ministry of Education, Government of India. Established with the aim of providing quality education to the children of transferable Central Government employees, including those in Defense and Para-Military services, Kendriya Vidyalayas follow a common curriculum across all their schools in India. Kendriya Vidyalaya Gunupur is running in Bell Hostel Campus, Gunupur, building since 2019. Now it has up to class 10th and having approximately 400 students studying here.
